Ahead of their final preparations for the 2016 Africa Nations Championship, the Super Eagles crew will proceed to South Africa on Saturday, January 2, to perfect their strategies for the tournament which would be held in Rwanda.
The team has resumed training after a three-day break which allowed players celebrate the Christmas festivities with their loved ones.
Assistant coaches Salisu Yusuf, Jean Francois Losciuto and Tijani Babangida been in charge of the boys. It would be recalled that the team had been in training camp without Coach Sunday Oliseh.
The Eagles will be settled in Pretoria for the final camping phase where they will play two friendly matches against Ivory Coast and Angola.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group C alongside Tunisia, Guinea and Niger at the tournament proper which will kick off on January 16.
